Dr. Tim O’Flanagan
Dr Tim O’Flanagan has been working in Rathfarnham for nearly four decades and has accumulated a wealth of experience in primary care.
He undertook his undergraduate medical training in the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and then spent time training in various specialties including general medicine, psychiatry and paediatrics. He completed a diploma in sports medicine in the University of Bath in 1993 and has provided medical cover to the Irish U19 rugby team and Bective Rangers RFC across three decades. He holds membership to the Royal College of General Practice and is a fellow of the Faculty of Sports & Exercise Medicine in RCSI. With his special interest in men’s health, sports medicine, and medicine for the elderly, he offers a comprehensive approach to patient care that encompasses diverse needs and concerns.
Dr. Una Patchett
Dr Una Patchett is a highly experienced general practitioner who has been providing comprehensive healthcare to patients for many years. Dr Patchett completed her medical training in UCD and subsequently spent 10 years working in general practice in the UK before returning to join the practice in Aranleigh. Her special interests include dermatology and women’s health and in particular menopause, and is passionate about helping women navigate this important stage of life. Una believes in taking a holistic, patient centred approach to patient care, addressing both physical and emotional well-being. She is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with her patients, listening to their concerns, and providing compassionate care that helps them achieve their health goals.
Dr. Barry O’Flanagan
Dr Barry O’Flanagan was vocationally trained on the HSE/TCD specialist training scheme in General Practice having worked in several specialties including paediatrics, psychiatry, medicine for the elderly, endocrinology obstetrics, and in the emergency department. He completed a degree in Genetics in TCD prior to his medical degree and has masters degrees in Regenerative Medicine and also in Sports & Exercise Medicine, along with a PG Cert in ultrasound guided joint injections. He holds memberships to the Irish College of General Practice and the Faculty of Sports & Exercise Medicine in the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. He is currently the team doctor to the Irish U19s & U20s teams and is guest lecturer in Sports & Exercise Medicine and clinical tutor in undergraduate medicine in Trinity College Dublin.
